Supporting the wellbeing of expectant and new parents
A staggering 1 in 10 babies in Australia are born premature (before 37 weeks gestation) and approximately 15% of all babies require some form of extra care at birth.
Babies born premature or sick can go on to face lifelong challenges and the experience can have a significant impact on the entire family. Parents of extreme premature babies are at increased risk of post-natal depression and anxiety. Without support, this overwhelming experience can have lifelong effects on the emotional wellbeing of these families.
Miracle Babies Foundation does invaluable work supporting the wellbeing of expectant and new parents with a baby requiring specialised care, ensuring that those in need receive vital, emotional support and resources to help them through their experience.
Every purchase of a Natalis product supports a family with a baby in NICU.
VidaCorp and Natalis are proud to partner with Miracle Babies Foundation to support newborns, their families and the hospitals that care for them.
Miracle Babies provide peer support, practical resources and information to expectant and new parents experiencing the birth of a baby that requires specialised care. Since August 2020, this partnership has supported over 1,500 Australian families and we look forward to continuing to support this important work.
